Palm Springs Art Museum’s The Art of Pride is a brand new official Pride event that kicks off the celebration weekend on Friday, Nov.1, 5:30-8:30 p.m. This one-of-a-kind party is limited to 1,000 attendees and is an LGBTQ gathering where we welcome our friends and allies to join us at the museum!
All three levels of the building will be open including our two outdoor patios and the Annenberg Theater. Attendees can explore offerings from the permanent collection and current exhibitions, including “Touching History” a commemoration of the 50th anniversary of New York’s Stonewall riots bringing together an intergenerational group of contemporary artists working in photography and collage.
The evening includes a DJ spinning music throughout the building, an open bar, appetizers, and special entertainment to be announced later this summer. Make an exhibition of yourself at this ideal way to launch the weekend with an upscale mix of locals and out-of-towners in a fun-filled celebration of queerness and culture!
